Parity Check

Parity check options should be the same on the engine and the Host.

Select Odd parity: If data has an odd number of 1 bits, the parity bit »

value is set to 0.

Select Even parity:If data has an even number of 1 bits, the parity bit »

value is set to 0.

Select No Parity Check and parity bit will not be sent. »

Hardware Auto Flow Control

When enabled，the engine will decide if the data should be sent in accordance with CTS signal level. When

it is low level CTS signal, it means the serial port’s cache memory of receiving end (such as PC) is full and

the engine will not send data through RS232 until CTS signal is set to high level by receiving end.

When the engine is not ready for receiving, it will set RTS signal to low level. When sending end (such as

PC) detects it, it could not send data to the engine any more, otherwise the data will be lost.

When disabled, data’s sending and receiving through serial port will not be effected by RTS/CTS signal.

Before enabling this function, please be sure that RTS/CTS signal line is contained in RS232

cable. If not, a RS232 communication error will occur.
